If you are a tea drinker and a Disney fan, there's a grassroots tea company that you should definitely check out.
I received a selection of custom-blended teas from Trader Nicks Tea Company to sample and I have to say that this is a thoroughly impressive product offering. Full disclosure, I am not a tea drinker, but my podcast co-host daughter Amelia and my wife are both avid tea drinkers, so I put Trader Nick's Tea to the test without giving a head's up or offering any prompts.
I was curious to see what two tea aficionados would think of some of these blends.
But first, let's talk about what Trader Nicks Tea Co. is all about. The husband and wife duo Nick and Nicolette Spears, both avid Disney fans, founded the company in 2019. I appreciate businesses that are inspired by Disney themes and turn that inspiration into a business venture of their own, based on their passion.

An Impressive Selection of Custom Blended Teas
Trader Nicks Tea Company offers an impressive selection of custom teas (loose leaf and bagged) inspired by a wide range of Disney themes. They aim to match the teas they create to their memories and nostalgia of Disney themes.
Much like a Disney Imagineer, the crafting of each tea blend includes consideration for color, flavor, aroma and, of course, naming and packaging to capture exactly what they are looking for in each Disney-inspired blend. With tea names like Grim Grinning Green, Main Street Muffin, Cherry Tree Lane and much more, it's not only very enjoyable to drink these teas, but fun to sample each variety and name.

Back to those tea tests...
When you open each package of tea, you are immediately greeted with a wonderful bouquet of aroma giving an inviting hint of what's inside. As the tea steeps, the aromas are subtly present, indicative of quality ingredients in the blend.
The true test, of course, is whether or not the flavor of the tea would match the aroma. Without fail, these teas were a resounding hit with my tea-tasting panel.

It is abundantly clear from the packaging, the naming of each variety, and the tea blends themselves that a lot of effort and consideration has gone into the creation of each of these hand crafted custom teas.
