Delicious Treats and Cute Popcorn Buckets at Disneyland’s Get Your Ears On
It’s All About the Snacks and Treats During Get Your Ears On: A Mickey & Minnie Celebration
Disneyland Resort is throwing the biggest bash in its history to celebrate the 90th birthdays of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. And what better way to enhance the festivities than by offering a mouth watering variety of delicious treats and adorable popcorn containers?!
Here is a sampling of some of the most desirable items to watch for during Get Your Ears On — A Mickey and Minnie Celebration at Disneyland Resort.
Mickey-Shaped Sweet Treats (and Minnie too) to Tantalize Your Tastebuds
If you like Mickey Ice Cream Bars, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll love these hand-dipped Mickey and Minnie ice cream bars from Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream at Disney California Adventure.
Churros have been a long-time favorite at Disneyland, so it comes as no surprise that Disney Chefs have creating a special churro just for the occasion. You’ll find this Mickey Mouse Celebration Churro at the it’s a small world churro cart in Disneyland.
Ever thought you’d see Mickey ears so appealing you could eat them? Now you can. The Mickey Hat dessert is available at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Disneyland Park.
Funnel cakes have long been carnival favorites, but Disneyland is no carnival and this is no ordinary funnel cake. Disney pasty chefs have elevated the funnel cake to a new level with this decadent Minnie Mouse Valentine specialty funnel cake. You don’t have to make it a Valentine’s treat to enjoy it, but then again, I’m sure your Valentine would definitely appreciate the gesture if presented with this tasty sweet. Head to Stage Door Cafe in Disneyland Park to find it.
Speaking of Minnie Mouse themed treats, the title photo for this post features a decadent Minnie Mouse Lava Cake. You can find that creation at the River Belle Terrace in Disneyland Park.
For me, nothing beats a classic Disney cupcake and these Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes are some of the best! How festive are these beauties? Hop on over to Toontown in Disneyland Park to take a bite out these eye-catching creations, macaron and all.
How do you elevate a donut you ask? Well, by creating a croissant donut, of course. To try out one of these Mickey and Minnie Croissant Donuts, make your way to Schmoozies! in Disney California Adventure.
For a creative take on the funnel cake, you must try these Get Your Ears on Mickey Funnel Fries. Award Weiners in Disney California Adventure is the place to go if you want to feast on a serving of this delicious treat (suitable for sharing!).
When treats are only here for a limited time, there’s even more reason to get out and start tasting. This creative take on a classic dessert is the Cookies and Cream Bread Pudding from Pacific Wharf Cafe, Disney California Adventure.
As an added bonus, Disney was kind enough to share the Cookies and Cream Bread Pudding recipe in case you want to give it a try at home.
If churros are your thing, there’s another limited-time classic that you’ll want to try. The Fantasia Mickey Churro is a delectable delight and it’s waiting for you at the Frontierland Churro Cart in Disneyland Park.
But wait, there’s more. How about the Caramel Corn Churro from the Buena Vista Churro Cart in Disney California Adventure?
Or maybe you’d prefer the classic Maple Bacon Churro from the Golden State Churro Cart in Disney California Adventure? And there are even more limited-time churros just waiting to be discovered.
One of the instant classics is this Minnie-inspired Birthday Sundae, which you can find at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor in Disneyland Park.
It’s also available in a Mickey Kitchen Sink!
Perhaps a straight up cookie is more your style? If that’s the case, then you might like to try the Steamboat Willie Black and White Cookie. There’s one waiting for you at Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure Park.
Disney Limited-Time Savory Snacks
It’s not all about the sweet treats, of course. If you’re like me, you may tend to prefer Disney’s savory snacks. With that in mind, feast your eyes on some of the scrumptious limited-time offerings.
Anything with a Hidden Mickey made from jalapeno peppers is going to get my attention right away. So this Cheddar Sausage Link with Mac and Cheese from Award Weiners in Disney California Adventure tops my list.
Sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind when it comes to Disney snacking. If you want to go big, then this colossal Share Your Ears Cheeseburger from Smoke Jumpers Grill is a pretty good place to start. You might want to consider sharing this one…or maybe not.
If hot dogs are more your style, there are several interesting offerings. These include the Footlong Bacon Mac and Cheese Hot Dog from Pluto’s Dog House in Disneyland Park and the vegan Hot Diggity Dog at Harbour Gallery, also in Disneyland.
If you’re wondering whether there are any lighter offerings in the mix, then you might be interested in this tasty looking Smoked Salmon Salad. You can find this one at Cafe Orleans in Disneyland Park.
Or perhaps a Pad Thai Spring Roll may be more to your liking? This delectable morsel is available at one of my personal favorite spots in Disneyland Park: Bengal Barbecue.
Finally, we come to some good old comfort food. This mouth-watering deliciously Melty Toasted Cheese Sandwich is a great way to fuel up and you can find it at the Jolly Holiday Bakery in Disneyland Park.
As an added bonus, Disney has kindly shared the recipe for their toasted cheese sandwich, which you can download here.
Mickey and Minnie Popcorn Buckets
Rounding things out, I have to close with these awesome and very cute Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse popcorn buckets. If you collect Disney popcorn buckets — or if you’re about to start collecting them — these ballon-inspired Disney popcorn buckets are a great way to start!
