Disney Resort North has a few themed areas. The main entranceway includes a nod to EPCOT’s World Showcase and the Oasis Fountain represents the Tree of Life. The Summerhouse pavilion anchors the Grand Floridian inspired section. Towards the back of the yard is the Disneyland Paris and international area. There is a Disney Vacation Club inspired section, which is anchored by On The Rocks Poolside Bar, named after a bar found at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. The final area is the outdoor kitchen, anchored by The Smokehouse: Smoke, Fire, Grill (also a nod to EPCOT). Mixed among the “lands” are a number of games (foosball, connect four and so on) each sourced to be the exact models found onsite at Walt Disney World. There is Hawaiian Shave Ice in the pool bar (with the exact flavors found at Disney Aulani in Hawaii) and there are Hidden Mickeys and Hidden Pascals throughout the property. Of course, The Courtyard Pool is at the center of it all. This is just a taste of what our guests discover inside Disney Resort North, but there is so much more detail to be found. And like the originals, it is always changing and growing every year.
