Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Merchandise, Souvenirs and Collectibles
Out-of-this-World New Merchandise Waiting for You at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge
Whether you visit Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland or Walt Disney World, there are a ton of fun new items to tempt your wallet
As if you needed more reasons to visit Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resort, the range of Star Wars merchandise that will soon be available looks out of this world.
What’s Waiting for You at Galaxy’s Edge?
To help stoke the fires of anticipation, Disney released several photos of what we can expect to find at Galaxy’s Edge. So here is a sneak peak at some of the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge collectibles, souvenirs, costumes, clothing and more that will be waiting for you.
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
Without question, a very popular stop will be Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Here you will find rare items for sale from across the galaxy — all part of Dok-Ondar’s collection. Items will represent different eras of the Star Wars galaxy, including holocrons, ancient Jedi and Sith artifacts, lightsabers and more.
Let’s take a closer look at the some of the items you will be able to find at Dok-Ondar’s.
In some cases, you’re going to have to pick a side. Disney notes that guests will find rare and unique items at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. These will include display-worthy collectible Jedi artifacts, such as those pictured above.
Also at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you will find a selection of rare and unique items, including relics left behind by the Sith. If you have a Disney or Star Wars display case at home (or if you have been thinking about creating one), you’ll likely find a number of treasures here to get things started.
Holocrons (pictured above) are ancient repositories of wisdom. Both the Jedi and Sith used them to record their teachings for future generations seeking to understand the mysteries of the Force. Kyber crystals can unlock additional content in both the Jedi and Sith Holocrons. These will also be available at Dok-Ondar’s in Galaxy’s Edge.
Ever dream of having your own custom droid at home to keep you company? In the Droid Depot at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you will be able to build your own personal droids from a wide range of options, just as if you were scouring for parts in the universe.
What will your droid options look like? Disney gave us a sneak peak at that as well.
When you stop by the Droid Depot, you will be able to build your very own R-series or BB-series droid (or astromech unit, as they’re known) — a great friend to have as you journey throughout the village of Black Spire Outpost.
Custom built droids aren’t the only thing you’ll find at Droid Depot. You will also be able to look the part by choosing from a selection of droid apparel and other droid-inspired products.
Speaking of custom builds, droid aren’t the only thing you’ll be able to customize at Galaxy’s Edge.
At Savi’s Workshop you will find what I predict may become the ultimate in collectibles and must-have items from Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge: the opportunity to create your very own custom built high-quality lightsaber.
These are not the same as the plastic versions that you can currently find in Disney Parks, which is why I expect them to be one of the most anticipated items of all. This new addition has been receiving a ton of buzz on social media. At Savi’s Workshop you will be able to build your own lightsaber — a process guided by ancient wisdom, but crafted by the choices that you make as part of your own adventure. Each build will begin with a personal connection to a kyber crystal used to ignite the custom lightsaber. Sound fun? Personally, I’m looking forward to trying this one for myself.
The Creature Stall
If you prefer a furry porg or other adorable creature from across the Star Wars universe, make your way to the Creature Stall. The Creature Stall will offer your very own galactic creatures of all kinds, including porgs, tauntauns and more.
Toydarian Toymaker Stall
Furry friends aren’t the only things you can find — they’re will be artisan-style toys as well.
The Toydarian Toymaker stall in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will feature an assortment of artisan-style plush characters, wood toys, tin toys and musical instruments. These look like they’ll be great collectibles and gifts for friends and family (or for yourself, of course).
Black Spire Outfitters
If you plan to take home an authentic Star Wars outfit, then Black Spire Outfitters is the place to be. You will have a wide range of options here and it won’t all be pre-defined styles right off the rack. Want to create your own unique style? You’re in luck. For some of the clothing at Black Spire Outfitters, you will be able to mix and match options to create your very own galactic style.
Black Spire Outpost
At Black Spire Outpost, you can choose to show your true allegiance within the galaxy. Want to showcase your loyalty to the Resistance? You’ll find gear, badges and more at Resistance Supply to do just that.
If you prefer the First Order, have no fear. Showcase your allegiance to the First Order by choosing from among a wide range of gear and supplies that the 709th Legion brought with them to First Order Cargo.
Customization is Key at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge
One thing is clear after reviewing some of the many merchandise options that will be available at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge: the ability to all guests to customize their experience is a high priority. From droids, to lightsabers to clothing, you can make you Galaxy’s Edge take-home treasures your very own and I’m excited to see how this all comes together when Galaxy’s Edge opens in 2019 at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
