The Top 10 Disney Travel Posts for 2019
Last year’s number 10 is this year’s number one most popular post.
Once you’ve decided whether or not Club Level accommodations at Walt Disney World are right for you, the next question is which one is best for you?
This popular post jumped to the top position as the most-read story of 2019 from the Luxury Disney Travel Blog. So if you want to know which are my most recommended Disney Club Level accommodations, this post is for you.
Moving up one spot from last year (2018 #3 to 2019 #2), information about Disney Vacation Club was a very hot topic on the blog for 2019. In response to reader demand, I added more news and information about Disney Vacation Club and overall DVC stories received more traffic than last year. There’s no doubt that interest in Disney’s timeshare program definitely on the rise. It’s not surprising because Disney clearly has a commitment to continue building more and more Disney Vacation Club resort hotels.
This popular post provides my completely subjective ranking of the Disney Vacation Club villas at Walt Disney World.
As a long time DVC member and a regular guest of all DVC properties, I share my views in this post on how each of Disney’s DVC resorts ranks versus all the rest. Similar to my Disney restaurant posts, this story is updated whenever I feel that a change or addition is required. Watch for another update by April 2020 as Disney’s Riviera Resort will find its place on the list.
Dropping one spot from #2 in 2018 to #3 in 2019, this post ranks the top 10 table service restaurants at Walt Disney World based on my ongoing Disney dining experiences. As an original Disney traveler and formally-trained chef, I provide my recommendations on the best places to dine for table service at Walt Disney World and I regularly updated the content whenever I feel that a change is warranted.
Of course, there are many excellent options when it comes to Disney table service dining. This list features my current top 10 recommended list. Similar to my top 20 list, this post is updated at a minimum on an annual basis, with an update planned for April 2020.
Holding steady in the number four position, it seems like a lot of blog visitors have narrowed down their Walt Disney World hotel choice to Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
This head-to-head comparison helps readers to make what can be a tough decision trying to pick between the two Walt Disney World original resort hotels.
Moving up from #6 in 2018 to #5 in 2019, is another of my popular head-to-head Deluxe Disney resort hotel comparisons.
Choosing between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort can be challenging. After all, they are both exceptional luxury Disney properties in their own right. This post helps would-be travelers to determine which of these two popular Walt Disney World hotels might be the perfect choice for them.
New in the top 10 this year is my popular review of the Castle Club, Club Level accommodations at the Disneyland Hotel, Disneyland Paris.
The Castle Club accommodations are just about as good as it gets when visiting Disneyland Paris and I had quite a bit of reader interaction about this topic over the course of 2019. So I am not surprised to see this post as a new entry in the top 10.
Another new story in the top 10 for 2019 is my post that highlights which Walt Disney World hotels are within walking distance of a theme park.
Proximity to the Disney magic is one of the main benefits of most Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, so it’s no surprise that Disney travelers want to know which of the top tier onsite hotels at Walt Disney World are within walking distance of a theme park.
Coming in at #8 in 2019 is my over-arching post on Disney Vacation Club. Many Disney travelers are vaguely aware of DVC, but don’t fully understand how it works. I added even more content about DVC to the blog in 2019 as it continues to be a popular subject for my readers.
This post is a high-level overview of the Disney Vacation Club program, with some information that will help you determine whether joining Disney Vacation Club is a good choice for you and your family. If you’re interested in learning more about Disney Vacation Club, start here.
I am happy to see that one of my posts on Disney history made it into the top 10 in 2019.
This posts takes a look at a little-known historical fact, that Walt Disney’s Family tree can be traced back to a small town in Ontario, Canada. A great read for any fan of Walt Disney who is interested in his family tree.
Finally, rounding out the top 10 is last year’s #1 most popular post.
Food-related posts have always been very popular here in the Luxury Disney Travel Blog and the trend continued in 2019.
This list of dining recommendations covers all restaurants, from table service to quick service, and character dining to stage shows.
This list is updated on an annual basis (at the very least). So be sure to check back to see if there have been any recent updates or changes.
